Dear Friends and Supporters,  Thank you very much for your supporting and participation in the seventh charity fund raising 16km Run/Walk/Cycling we organized around the West Lake on Saturday 28 May 2011. We had a very pleasant and successful moment with participation of over 140 people from the members of the diplomatic corps, private sector, friends, colleagues from the Viet Nam Resident Mission of Asian Development Bank, and special guests are 20 children from Ha Nam province, who have been receiving financial supports from our scholarships program. We appreciate the kind contribution and supports made by the Metropole Hanoi, Fraser Suites for providing the food and drinks to our small party . We thank the Hanoi Lakeview for their kind support for the charity West Lake Run/Walk /Cycling by allowing us to use the parking lot and the reception area of the Hanoi Lake View. We also greatly appreciate the courtesy of the Hanoi French Hospital for having an ambulance on standby to help us.

Scholarship Award Program for Academic Year 2011/2012 |
|
There will be two batches of scholarship awarding ceremony in 2011 for school-year 2011/2012. The first batch will be organized at Ha Nam province (60 km on the south of Hanoi) on 25 June 2011, while the second one will be sometime in August/September 2011 as we are waiting for submission of reports on study progress of each INC’s beneficiaries during school-year 2010/2011. First batch will provide 3-year scheme scholarship to 15- 20 poor students (we are reviewing/assessing) who are in grade of 1-9. Fund used for the 1st batch will be the amount raised during the 28 May Event and the savings from previous fund-raising events. Second batch basically to give continual support to 27 students of Hai Duong, Hue, and Ha Nam provinces (or maybe less depending on students’ progress in school-year 2010/2011).
