Dear Friends and Supporters, Thank you very much for your supporting and participation in the sixth charity fund raising 15-km Run/Walk we organized around the West Lake on Saturday 23 January 2010. We had a very pleasant and successful moment with participation of over 100 people from the members of the diplomatic corps, private sector, friends, colleagues from the Viet Nam Resident Mission of Asian Development Bank, and special guests are 25 children from Ha Nam province, who are among 117 beneficiaries of our scholarships program. We appreciate the kind contribution made by the Melia Hotel, Sheraton Hotel, Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, Fraser Suites for providing the food and drinks to our small party and scholarship awarding ceremony as well as their service crew. We thank Dragon Capital and the Hanoi Lakeview for their kind support for the charity West Lake Run/Walk by allowing us to use the parking lot and the reception area of the Hanoi Lake View. We also greatly appreciate the courtesy of the Hanoi French Hospital for having an ambulance on standby to help us. We again thanks for your generous contribution very much, and certainly look forward to your continued support.

Scholarships Award for School-year 2009-2010 |
|
Scholarships' worth of VND 116,776,700, channeled through Viet Nam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) and its provincial affiliations, have been provided to poor students who have been receiving financial support from Initiative for Needy Children of Viet Nam (Inc Viet Nam). For school-year 2009-2010 Inc. Viet Nam continues to support a total of 36 poor students at levels of primary to tertiary. Among students who received INC 2006's, 2007's and 2008's scholarships in previous school-years INC does not continue to provide financial support to 11 students viz one university student who got a partime job and he can finance himself, two others did not achieved good study; and 6 students who are from Phu Tho province did not submit study records to Inc. Viet Nam. |
